War-Head is a Death/Thrash metal band formed in 2002 in Osijek, Croatia.
In 2008 band recorded its debut album No Signs of Armageddon, mastered by Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering, USA. After this self-released material, the band supported Devastation (USA) for a short tour in 2008 and Warbringer on a European tour in 2010.
In 2011 the band released its official debut “...Still no signs of Armageddon” through Denim and Leather Records - UK, featuring artwork by Joe Petagno (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Marduk, The Black Dahlia Murder, etc.). In 2011 band did a European tour as a supporting act for Darkness (GER). To further promote the album the band did three European tours and participated in Croatia Wacken Metal Battle, Sarajevo Metal Festival, Metal Fest Croatia, Metal Mania Open Air and Beograd Heavy Metal Festival.
In 2013 band did a very successful Brazilian Tour with Tankard, and two European tours. In 2014 War-Head visited Brazil again sharing the stage with bands such as Headhunter DC, Nervochaos, and Vulcano.
The band released their second album Imperium Mundi for Miner Records in 2014. The release of the album was followed by two European tours including one with Vulcano and Nifelheim.
In 2015 War-Head played several festivals including Metaldays in Slovenia and Exit in Novi Sad. In 2016 band did an East European tour with Brazilian thrashers Nervosa.
War-Head recorded their latest album, Monuments of Fallacy in 2017 which was finally released in 2019, through Inferno Records, France. The album features several guests including members of Tankard, Jenner, Darkness, Evil Invaders and Loudblast.
After the pandemic period of 2020-2022, the band regrouped with a new guitar player Ivica Simunovic Skico of Kymera and will finally do a bunch of shows to promote the album.
