MESMERA is a melodic progressive Death Metal band from Trogir, Croatia, formed in 2010 by Hrvoje (bass) and Petar (guitar, vocals).

They were soon joined by Ivo (guitar), Jerko (drums) and Blaž (growl vocals).

MESMERA's first EP "Emptiness Foreseen" was self-released in October 2011. They also filmed a video for the song "Destined to Ruin" released in July 2012.

In October 2012 drummer Jerko Vičić left the band due to personal reasons and soon the band found the replacement in Josip Gruić, but also brought in another guitarist, Joško Civadelić.
